Carbide End Mills Used in Industrial Milling

An endmill is a a cutting tool used in industrial milling applications. It is different from a drill bit, in its application, geometry, and manufacture. Whereas a drill bit can only cut in the axial direction, a milling bit can generally cut in all directions, though some cannot cut axially.

Carbide end mill - Traditionally end mills are made from high speed steel however today?s end mills are often made of tungsten carbide.
