Unemployment Rate hits 5.1 percent in March

CVN Business - The unemployment rate in the U.S. hit 5.1 percent in March, up from 4.8 percent in February. That is the highest unemployment level in three years, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). The number of unemployed persons increased by 434,000 to 7.8 million in March, based on BLS data, and the number of unemployed persons has increased by 1.1 million over the last 12 months.
